The Drawing App That Loves to Hate you
1st Place 2025 Hackathon Winner
Zentropy is the product of the 2025 Hackathon sponsored by J.B. Hunt where participants are given a theme and 24 hours to design and code an interactive product. The theme this year was “Yin and Yang” and I was the sole graphic designer for my team.
Zentropy is a web app meant to provide a relaxing art-making experience for users. The work is then uploaded to a hypothetical forum where other users are encouraged to critique, bully, and hate on the person’s work. The app shows the dichotomy between the relaxing creation of art compared to the relentless hate you receive when posting that same art on the internet.
